McCormick 4th of July BBQ Bash

I am a Crowdtap Member and was offered a hosted party opportunity to sample and share McCormick seasonings and marinades for FREE.  My kit included the following products:

  • 1 Steakhouse Burgers – Smoky Applewood Seasoning Mix
  • 1 Steakhouse Burgers – Classic Burger Seasoning Mix
  • 1 Steakhouse Burgers – Steakhouse Mushroom Seasoning Mix
  • 1 Tennessee Smokehouse BBQ Rub
  • 1 Memphis Pit BBQ Rub
  • 1 Smokin’ Sweet Tea Marinade
  • 2 Montreal Steak Sauces
  • 1 Chipotle & Roasted Garlic Seasoning
  • 3 Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • 1 Worcestershire Pub Burger Seasoning
  • 1 McCormick Apron

I immediately took advantage of this great opportunity by hosting a 4th of July BBQ Bash.

Here I am, the hostess with the mostest!

My mom helped with all of the cooking which was A BREEZE because the marinades are simple to use and don't require much effort on your part for a great tasting, slow cooked flavor.

Here's my mom sporting her McCormick's Grill Mates apron and grilling up our tasty food.

We had little chicken wings that we grilled using the Chipotle & Roasted Garlic Seasoning.  This seasoning packs on the flavor of a subtle spicy mix of garlic.  Not too robust, just right!  The seasoning says it's spicy but it's really not too spicy.  The kids were able to enjoy the wings with no problems.

We also sampled the Montreal Steak seasoning on our T-Bone steaks.  Now this is must have staple in any kitchen pantry.  It packs on the flavor without all the "salty" flavor of other spices.  Our meat was tender and juicy.

My uncle made the hamburgers on his charcoal grill.  Don't mind the CUBS spatula as I have since hidden it from him (I'm a Yankees fan).  We used the Worcestershire Pub Burger Seasoning for the burgers.  Now this one, by far, is my favorite spice of the McCormick's family.  Here's why:  I used to poke little holes in my burgers and add a little bit of Worcestershire sauce in them to keep them from drying out and make them juicier.  Then I would have to try my hardest to keep the burgers from breaking apart on the grill because of the added moisture.  Not anymore!  I can now save all of those extra added steps and get EVEN BETTER flavor using the Worcestershire Pub Burger Seasoning.  If you have to get any one of the seasonings listed here, make sure this is one of them!  You will thank me.  Promise.

We used the Smokin’ Sweet Tea Marinade for this great Kabobs.  What a sweet smoky treat this was!  The marinades are super easy to use and the flavor is well worth the marinading time.

We had a blast at our McCormick 4th of July BBQ Bash and we owe it all to McCormick's and Crowdtap.  If you want to impress your friends and family with some new grilling techniques and spices, I would definitely look into the McCormick family line of products.  They are simple to use and they pack on restaurant quality flavor at a fraction of the cost.  You will be able to easily fool your guests into thinking you slow-cooked and marinaded everything for days to achieve the flavor you achieved when really it was just a shake of a bottle, or an opening of a marinade.

  1. I wish I was there because all the food looks super delicious!! I want to try the Chipotle & Roasted Garlic Seasoning!!

I agree with the burgers. I used to hate burgers homemade because they always came out too dry but we also use the PUB burger seasoning also and it does make the burgers juicy and yummy!
